Market Statistics for homes sales in the New Port Richey, Port Richey, Hudson, Holiday, Trinity areas based on the Multiple Listing Service. Sales were the highest in the under $100,000 listing price range. Homes in the $300,000+ range are the ones who are suffering slower sales at this point in time. The month of December is a mixed bag; sales slow on one hand due to the holidays but with the end of the year comes the end of the time period for filing for homestead; so many people want to close before the end of the year. In order to qualify for Homestead, you must have been  “in residence” by 12/31/09.
