Ice on pond in New Port Richey FL – Rare Sight

We woke up to 28 degrees on Sunday morning; I looked outside and our pond had ice on it and so did the birdbath. My husband, the sweetie, heated some water to take out and defrost the birdbath. However, he didn't want to go back out to take this picture so I put on my snowsuit and this is what I got.
Yes, it is ice. It was there again this morning but disappeared more quickly than it did yesterday. We are having a heat wave; it was 32 this morning and went all the way up to 44. I know all you guys up in the frozen north think we're wimps but really we are just not used to temps this low for a long period of time.
