New Port Richey Artist-Ila Latham at Progress Energy Art Gallery.
I recently met Ila at the Pasco Arts Fest. She was part of the Progress Energy Gallery and their presentation of local art and artists. Ila is a former art teacher: and now that she’s “retired”, she devotes her time to creating the most wonderful wearable art. Her card says she does paintings, hand weaving, and hanging wearables. Her boas are so pretty and frothy that you just want to keep touching them. She makes sweater, capes, purses and, of course, boas and scarves.
